Vinita Manoo, a 36‑year‑old native of Trinidad and Tobago, has been named the country’s representative for the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The selection was announced by the national pageant organization in a press briefing earlier this week.
Manoo first made a splash on the national stage in 2015, when she finished as the second runner‑up at Miss Trinidad and Tobago. Her experience in the competition has prepared her for the rigors of international pageantry.
She will travel to Puerto Rico in November to compete against delegates from around the world for the coveted crown. The Miss Universe 2026 event is scheduled to take place at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan.
Beyond pageantry, Manoo holds an MSc in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from the University of Stirling and a bachelor’s degree in Languages and International Relations from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. She has worked as a Spanish and English teacher, a communications and marketing consultant, and is currently Head of Marketing at Entual.
With her blend of academic credentials and professional experience, Manoo is poised to showcase Trinidad and Tobago’s culture and talent on the global stage. The national organization expressed confidence that she will bring pride and visibility to the island nation.
