Trinidadian artiste, known as Medz Boss, was denied entry to Guyana and subsequently detained at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport. The performer was scheduled to perform at the Masharama event in Guyana but was restricted by immigration officials upon arrival for reasons that have not been clearly communicated. Despite organizers’ efforts to rectify the situation, they were unsuccessful. Medz Boss is currently held at the airport and is set to be deported back to Trinidad. However, the show’s organizers have confirmed that the Masharama event will continue as scheduled with the other performers who have already arrived in Guyana.
