Trinidad and Tobago to Host UN’s ACM2025

Trinidad and Tobago has been selected as the host country for the 2025 Annual Coordination Meeting of the UN Cooperation Framework (ACM2025). The meeting will bring together governments from the English and Dutch-speaking Caribbean, UN agencies and UN Resident Coordinators. The meeting, set to take place in Port of Spain on December 10, aims to create concrete steps for progressing towards the Global Goals for sustainable development. The country’s Ministry of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development is co-hosting the event with the UN. The minister emphasized the partnership’s contribution to advancements in several key areas in the region, including the move towards more inclusive digital economies and sustainable food production, among others. The ACM2025 discussions will focus on the next UN Cooperation Framework for 2027-2031, enabling Caribbean governments to shape the UN’s future development partnerships with the region.
