The meeting, set to take place in Port of Spain on December 10, aims to create concrete steps for progressing towards the Global Goals for sustainable development. The country’s Ministry of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development is co-hosting the event with the UN. The minister emphasized the partnership’s contribution to advancements in several key areas in the region, including the move towards more inclusive digital economies and sustainable food production, among others.
