Trinidad and Tobago PM Discusses Cooperation with Canadian High Commissioner

In a significant diplomatic meeting held this afternoon, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar of Trinidad and Tobago had an important discussion with His Excellency Michael Callan, the Canadian High Commissioner. Stuart Shaw, a Counsellor in Political and Public Affairs, and Nancy Bernard, a Senior Trade Commissioner, accompanied the High Commissioner. Hon. Barry Padarath, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, joined the Prime Minister for this meeting. The main focus of their discussion was on strengthening the cooperation between Trinidad and Tobago and Canada, and advancing areas of mutual interest.
