Trinidad and Tobago Forecast: Sunny Day with Possible Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds for Friday

The Met Office Trinidad & Tobago released its weather outlook for Friday, October 9, 2026, at 06:07 AM. Meteorologist Crystol Caesar outlined a day that will largely stay sunny across the islands, with brief periods of cloudiness and scattered light to moderate showers.

There is a 30‑40% probability of isolated thunderstorms in some regions, which could bring gusty winds and, in the event of heavier rainfall, street flooding. The night is expected to remain fairly clear, though a few isolated showers may still occur.

In the Lesser Antilles, the forecast remains mostly sunny, with only occasional brief showers. Temperatures will rise to a high of 33 °C at Piarco and 32 °C at Crown Point, following last night’s lows of 25.0 °C and 25.8 °C respectively.

Residents are advised to monitor local updates and prepare for possible gusty conditions, especially in low‑lying coastal areas. The Met Office will continue to issue updates throughout the day.
