Trinidad and Tobago at CARICOM Meeting

At the ongoing CARICOM meeting in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago is represented by Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Sean Sobers. The 49th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM commenced with an opening ceremony welcomed by Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness. In his address, Holness expressed pleasure in hosting regional leaders and highlighted the importance of their discussions. Although the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago could not attend, she sent her regards and confirmed Sobers would take her place. The summit is focusing on vital topics such as regional security, economic integration, climate resilience, and food security, aiming to strengthen collaboration among Caribbean nations.
