The preparatory phase for the TransYaounde Bus Rapid Transit project was officially launched on September 23, 2026, at the Yaounde City Hall. The initiative aims to improve urban transportation infrastructure in the capital of Cameroon.
The project is designed to feature a transit corridor spanning 22 kilometers. Officials initiated the preliminary stage to establish the framework for the development and implementation of the bus system.
