**Vietnam’s Representative for Manhunt International 2026 Announced**
*Ho Chi Minh City, 30 August 2026* – KTP Global, the organization that holds the rights to the Manhunt International competition in Vietnam, confirmed that 29‑year‑old Trần Tiến Dũng will represent the country at the 2026 edition of the pageant. The international event is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka from 3 to 9 September, featuring roughly 40 contestants from various nations and territories.
**Background of the contestant**
Trần Tiến Dũng was born in 1997 in Phú Thọ province. He stands 1.86 m tall, weighs 79 kg and lists measurements of 109‑85‑103 cm. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and previously worked as a marketing director for a chain of fitness centers before turning to modeling.
In December 2025, Dũng won the Manhunt Vietnam 2025 competition held in Đồng Nai, defeating 35 other participants. He also received the “Best Physique” award at that event. Following his national victory, he has been preparing for the international stage, focusing on physical training, runway performance, communication skills and language proficiency.
**Expectations from the organizer**
Chu Tấn Văn, chairman of KTP Global, expressed confidence in Dũng’s prospects. “We hope he can achieve the highest title, or at least place within the Top 5,” Văn said, adding that Dũng’s “advantages lie in his appearance, strength, masculinity and educational background.” The statement reflects the organizer’s aspirations rather than a guarantee of outcome.
**Competition details**
Manhunt International, first held in 1993, is one of the three major male beauty contests worldwide, alongside Mr World and Mr International. The competition evaluates contestants on physique, runway presentation, communication, health, career achievements and community contributions. The 2026 edition will include an “Iconic National Costume” segment, during which participants showcase traditional attire representing their countries.
For the national costume portion, Dũng will present two áo dài ensembles: a “Long bào Triều Nguyễn” created in collaboration with the Năm Tuyền áo dài artisans, and a five‑panel áo dài intended for events in Sri Lanka.
**Contestant’s remarks**
Speaking about his role, Dũng said, “I want to bring a confident, mature, modern image of a Vietnamese man and share the most beautiful aspects of Vietnam with the world.” He also noted that the field of international representatives this year is strong, emphasizing the importance of focusing on each competition segment rather than targeting a specific ranking.

In addition to preparation for the pageant, Dũng has been active in community‑service activities, aiming to portray a representative who combines physical appeal with social engagement.

Vietnam has previously sent models such as Mai Tuấn Anh and Trần Mạnh Kiên to the competition. The nation’s most notable achievement came in 2017 when Ngọc Tình won the Manhunt International title.
