Tourism New Zealand has introduced a new marketing initiative titled Don’t be a Stranger. The campaign is designed to encourage residents of Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada who have personal connections to New Zealand to travel to the country this year.
The campaign specifically targets individuals who have friends or family members living in New Zealand. According to Tourism New Zealand, the initiative aims to motivate those with existing personal ties to prioritize travel plans they may have previously delayed.
The organization stated that many people in these key international markets already possess strong personal reasons to visit New Zealand, and the campaign seeks to leverage those relationships to boost tourism numbers.
