**Togo: Professor Komi Wolou Urges Government to Address Security Concerns Raised by Ferdinand Ayité**
Professor Komi Wolou, president of the Pacte Socialiste pour le Renouveau (PSR), has publicly called on the Togolese government to take seriously the recent security concerns raised by investigative journalist Ferdinand Ayité.
Ayité, who has reported receiving threats against his life, has issued several public alerts regarding his safety. In response to these claims, Professor Wolou argued that the government should prioritize investigating the substance of the journalist’s reports rather than viewing him as a political adversary.
The PSR leader emphasized that the state has a responsibility to address the concerns raised by the journalist, suggesting that dismissing such warnings could have broader implications for the country.
Ferdinand Ayité, a prominent Togolese journalist, has frequently been the subject of controversy due to his investigative work. The government has not yet issued a formal response to Professor Wolou’s appeal.
