Togo Launches Major Malaria Prevention Campaign with Free Mosquito Nets

Togo is launching a major campaign to distribute 5.6 million insecticide-treated mosquito nets for free starting July 14, 2026. This initiative aims to combat malaria, a critical public health challenge for the country. The distribution follows a door-to-door census to identify beneficiaries. In 2024, Togo recorded more than 2.1 million malaria cases and nearly 1,000 deaths, highlighting the importance of this campaign.
