A powerful isolated thunderstorm is currently affecting Biche and its surrounding areas, causing locally heavy rainfall. The storm, located in the eastern part of the Central Range, is expected to slowly weaken as it moves westward. Meanwhile, additional isolated heavy shower activities are being observed in the northeastern peninsula region, particularly near Cumana and Rampanalgas. On a different note, sunny to partly cloudy skies are being briefly interrupted by light showers amidst minor concentrations of Saharan dust. In areas experiencing intense showers and isolated thunderstorms, there’s a potential for gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and possible street or flash flooding.
