Three Detained in Angola with 123 Passports in Major Forgery Bust

Angolan authorities have arrested three individuals in connection with a massive document forgery operation, seizing 123 national passports and other documents. The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) announced the detention of two Angolan men, aged 52 and 36, and a 27-year-old Congolese woman on suspicion of involvement in a fraudulent scheme to obtain false documents.

The suspects, identified as a manager and a public relations officer of a company called PCK, were caught with the passports and other unspecified documents. The SIC stated that there is strong evidence linking them to the crime of document forgery. The operation underscores ongoing efforts by Angolan law enforcement to combat identity fraud and protect national security.
