Thieves targeted the principal’s office at Diego Martin Central Secondary School over the weekend, stealing thousands of dollars in cash and equipment. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, July 13th, 2025, when an MTS Security Guard on duty conducted a routine patrol. Initially, all doors and windows appeared secure. However, during a second patrol around 6:00 a.m., the guard discovered that several metal bars on the gate leading to the principal’s office had been cut and bent open. The principal was notified and confirmed the break-in upon her arrival. A thorough check revealed the theft of $7,547.85 in petty cash, a Lenovo laptop, and a DVR system. Crime Scene Investigators, led by PC George, processed the scene, and investigations are currently being conducted by WPC Mc Cleod of the West End CID.
