Motorists traveling on the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, both Northbound and Southbound, should expect temporary traffic disruptions between Brentwood Mall and Chase Village Overpass. The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure in Trinidad and Tobago issued the notice on 21st July 2025. The disruption, due to road rehabilitation works, is expected to start on 22nd July and end on 31st July 2025. Work will be carried out daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During this period, the Southern Main Road can be used as an alternative route. Motorists are advised to follow all signs, safety barriers, and police directions, proceed with caution, expect slow traffic and heavy equipment movement in the area, reduce speed, and avoid overtaking in the work zone.
