A 17-year-old boy from Golconda, near San Fernando, has been charged with murder in the death of Rajkumar Pope, a father of two from the same community. This follows instructions received by homicide detectives to charge the teenager. The investigators subsequently completed their inquiries and submitted the case file to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Following the receipt of legal advice, the teenager is now expected to appear before the court on Thursday to answer to the charge. Despite these developments, the matter remains under active investigation by homicide officers.
