Teen Reappears Safely After Disappearance Sparks Community Alert

Adrianna Robertson, a 17-year-old student from Morvant, has safely returned after being reported missing earlier this week, quelling community fears. Robertson, who is a Form Five student at St Charles High School in Tunapuna, walked into the Tunapuna Police Station on Wednesday afternoon, ending a tense search that had caught the attention of local residents.

This missing persons alert was first triggered when Robertson didn’t return home after school on Tuesday. Her disappearance prompted officials and community members to launch an immediate search. A statement on social media from Robertson herself later confirmed her safety. “Hi guys, this is Adrianna. I am safe and ok,” she posted, which swiftly calmed rising anxieties within her community.

Police investigations revealed she was last seen in the company of two other individuals at an apartment in Dass Trace, Enterprise. Despite the relief of Robertson’s return, authorities are still piecing together the details of her unscheduled absence. Police are also looking for two other young women who have been reported missing and were allegedly seen in the Tunapuna area together with Robertson.

Officers have stated there is no evidence to suggest that Robertson was held against her will. However, she has not yet provided substantial information regarding her encounter or the whereabouts during her time missing, particularly concerning a third individual—a man reportedly seen with the group.

As the investigation continues, the focus remains on ensuring the safety and well-being of young women in the area, as parents and school communities grapple with concern over these enigmatic disappearances.
