Police are urgently searching for a 17-year-old girl and her infant child, reported missing under worrying circumstances in South Oropouche. The mother and her baby were last seen at their residence around 8.15 p.m. A caregiver reported seeing the teenager carrying her baby while disposing of garbage. Security footage later revealed the teen scaling a perimeter fence with her baby, then walking towards Partap Trace. Neither the mother nor the child has been sighted or contacted since. An investigation is underway, with police appealing to the public for any information that might help locate the missing pair.
