A search has been instigated for a 17-year-old mother and her infant who reportedly disappeared from a home for teenage mothers in South Oropouche. The pair were last seen on Thursday evening around 8:15 p.m. The teenager was observed by a caregiver taking out the trash with her baby in arms. Later, security footage captured her climbing over the facility’s perimeter fence with her child and heading towards Partap Trace. The absence of the two was noticed and reported to the Oropouche Police Station. Despite extensive searches led by Cpl. Rambaran, there has been no success in locating them. The authorities are urging anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact police or the Hunters Search and Rescue Team.
