Taxi Robbery Culprits Arrested, Vehicle Recovered

On August 28th, 2025, two men were apprehended by the Northern Division officers following a taxi robbery incident. The victim, who was operating his silver Nissan Almera taxi, picked up three passengers who subsequently revealed their intent to rob him and claimed to be armed. Fearing for his life, the taxi driver escaped from the vehicle, which was then stolen by the robbers. The crime was promptly reported to the police, leading to an all-points bulletin for the vehicle and suspects. Acting swiftly on this information, officers managed to arrest two suspects, aged 23 and 25, and recover the stolen vehicle. Authorities are continuing investigations into the incident.
