Targetkan Keluar dari Middle Income Trap, Mendagri Dorong Pertumbuhan Ekonomi

**Minister of Home Affairs Emphasizes Economic Growth to Escape Middle-Income Trap**

**JAKARTA** – The Indonesian government is intensifying efforts to accelerate national economic growth as part of a strategic initiative to transition the country out of the middle-income trap.

Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian stated that historical data from developed nations indicates that sustained high economic growth is a prerequisite for successfully navigating the middle-income phase.

“Countries that have succeeded in becoming developed nations generally managed to pass that phase after achieving high economic growth,” Tito said.

To reach this objective, the Minister emphasized the necessity of strengthening four key economic components. While the provided report did not detail the specific components, the Ministry of Home Affairs continues to coordinate with regional governments to ensure that local economic policies align with national targets to foster a more robust and competitive economy.

The government’s focus remains on implementing structural reforms and policy adjustments designed to elevate Indonesia’s economic status and ensure long-term prosperity.
