**Amber Lemmon Places in Top‑16 at Euro Mini Championships**

Peterborough, England – Thirteen‑year‑old Amber Lemmon, a member of the England Table Tennis squad, finished among the top 16 competitors in the Under‑13 Girls’ singles event at the Euro Mini Championships held in France.

The Euro Mini Championships, a development tournament for athletes aged 11 to 13, featured a six‑player England team. Lemmon advanced through three group‑stage matches before meeting Switzerland’s Michelle Wu, the tournament’s top qualifier, in the round of 16. Wu defeated Lemmon 3‑0 (11‑9, 11‑1, 11‑6) and later secured the silver medal.

Following the round‑of‑16 loss, Lemmon entered the positional play‑offs to determine rankings from ninth to sixteenth place. She was unable to claim another victory, concluding the event in 16th position after a closely contested match against Lithuania’s Eva Chalkovskyte, which ended 3‑2 (12‑14, 11‑8, 11‑5, 9‑11, 14‑12).

Lemmon is currently the Under‑13 Girls’ Singles national champion and participates in the Table Tennis England performance pathway, a program designed to develop young talent for future representation of England and Great Britain at major international competitions, including the Olympic Games.
