Turkish University Sports Federation (TÜSF) President Mutlu Türkmen visited the International University Sports Federation (FISU) headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland, to discuss Erzurum’s bid to host the 2029 Winter Universiade. During the visit, Türkmen met with FISU Secretary‑General Matthias Remund and Sports Director Shen Zhen. The meeting focused on the preparations underway for Erzurum’s bid and on Turkey’s broader participation in international university sports. After the discussion, Türkmen expressed gratitude to the FISU officials for their constructive feedback and hospitality. The visit was part of TÜSF’s efforts to evaluate and strengthen Erzurum’s candidacy for the 2029 Winter Universiade.
