Swift Action Recovers Stolen Cash

On July 28th, 2025, officers from the Guard and Emergency Branch (G.E.B) executed a swift operation that led to the apprehension of two suspects and the recovery of $9,000 in stolen cash. The incident began when a man parked his vehicle securely near the Ministry of Agriculture on Farm Road in St. Joseph. Shortly after, thieves in a white Hyundai Accent, registration number PEC 6681, broke into the parked car and seized the significant sum of money. In response to the burglary, an all-points bulletin was issued, which facilitated a rapid intervention by G.E.B officers. They intercepted the suspect vehicle in the Port of Spain area, resulting in the detention of two individuals and the recovery of the stolen cash. The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
