In a recent Facebook video, Stuart Young directly addressed Ansel Roget, welcoming him to the Port of Spain North, St. Ann’s West, and Belmont. This message was delivered with an undertone of challenge and criticism targeted at Roget’s previous actions and their impact on the local community.
Young questioned Roget’s directive to BP, asking how many workers lost opportunities due to his decisions. He emphasized the struggle to regain rig building work for Trinidad & Tobago, suggesting that Roget’s actions had long-term negative effects.
Further escalating his critique, Young accused Roget of leading people astray and failing to contribute productively to the movement. He questioned Roget’s leadership and the potential harmful impact on more people in the future.
Drawing attention to a 2014 incident, Young reminded Roget of a time when he was on the verge of being fired from PetroTrin. Young hinted that he had been the lawyer who saved Roget’s job during that period. He concluded his message by accusing Roget of demonstrating ingratitude, likening it to witchcraft.
