Stormy skies ahead for T&T

On Thursday, September 4th, 2025, the official public weather forecast indicates a mix of cloudy periods and occasional scattered showers across Trinidad, Tobago, and the Windward Islands. There is a medium chance of these showers becoming heavy or thundery at times, with a likelihood of gusty winds and potential street or flash flooding during heavy rainfall. The night is expected to settle, with only a few isolated showers lingering.

In the Lesser Antilles, conditions are mostly sunny with brief isolated showers expected. The night will also remain fair despite the possibility of a few isolated showers.

Temperature readings show that in Piarco, the minimum temperature recorded last night was 24.9°C, with a forecasted maximum of 33°C. In Crown Point, the last night’s minimum was 26.7°C, with a maximum forecast of 32°C.

Sea conditions are expected to be slight to moderate, with wave heights ranging from 1.0m to 1.5m in open waters, while sheltered areas will see waves below 1.0m.
