The apartment is bathed in sunlight, but the 82‑year‑old is currently confined to his home. Paulsson has had one leg amputated and has expressed a desire to use an electric wheelchair so he can move around independently and meet friends. According to reports, the care service responsible for his support has denied his request for an electric wheelchair. As a result, Paulsson is unable to leave his apartment and is reportedly grieving the loss of his social life.
