Standard Bank Invests K50 Million in Malawi University of Science and Technology Endowment Fund
Standard Bank Plc has invested K50 million in the Endowment Fund of the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST). The donation was presented to Minister of Education Bright Msaka and MUST Vice-Chancellor Prof. Address Malata by Standard Bank Chief Executive Phillip Madinga.
According to Madinga, the investment reflects the bank’s belief in supporting the next generation of leaders, scientists, and innovators. The university has since renamed the fund as the Prof. Address Malata Endowment Fund in honor of the Vice-Chancellor, who has retired.
This investment reaffirms Standard Bank’s commitment to contributing to national growth through education. The K50 million investment is expected to support the university’s efforts in developing the country’s future leaders and innovators.
