Kuwaiti athlete Abdullah Shaaban secured a victory in the men’s kumite 60kg karate final at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The event took place on September 20, 2026, in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture.
Shaaban competed against Abdelrahman Abdelhamid of Qatar in the final match. Following the conclusion of the bout, Shaaban celebrated his win alongside his coach.
