South Korean Support Expands Healthcare in Cambodia’s Northwest

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) are providing development assistance to improve rural living conditions and expand maternal and newborn healthcare in Cambodia’s northwest.

As part of their efforts, new health facilities and community-led infrastructure projects are being implemented to bring essential public services closer to rural residents. This initiative aims to link improvements in rural living conditions with expanded healthcare services in the region.

The project is a result of South Korean development assistance, which is focused on enhancing the quality of life for rural residents in Cambodia’s northwest. Further details about the project, including its specific goals and timeline, were not provided.
