Social media post questions company’s alleged role in police post contracts

Questions Raised Over Company Linked in Social Media Claims About Joint Police-Army Posts
A social media post circulating online has sparked public discussion after alleging that a family connected to a recently incorporated company may have been awarded contracts related to the Government’s planned construction of 30 joint police-army posts across Trinidad and Tobago.
The post, shared by the Facebook page TRUTH Be Told, includes copies of Companies Registry documents for Aeonx Industries Limited, which show the company was incorporated in June 2025 and lists several directors. The post also compares those names with documents from another company, suggesting a connection between the businesses before questioning whether members of the same family have benefited from government contracts.
The page does not provide documentary evidence showing that Aeonx Industries Limited was awarded the contracts, nor does it present proof of any wrongdoing. Instead, it calls for greater transparency and asks whether taxpayers should receive more information about the procurement process.
The Government recently announced plans to establish 30 joint police and army posts across the country as part of its national security strategy, with construction expected to take place over the coming months.

As of publication, no official statement has been issued addressing the specific claims circulating on social media. Likewise, there has been no public confirmation linking the company named in the post to the construction programme.
TrinGlobe Media has not independently verified the allegations and will update this story if official responses or procurement records become available.
