Showers and Thunderstorms Ahead

The official public weather forecast for Trinidad and Tobago on August 26, 2025, indicates a partly cloudy day with showers likely disrupting sunny conditions from late morning into the afternoon. A medium chance of isolated heavier showers or thunderstorms is expected, particularly in western Trinidad. As night falls, the weather will start fair but gradually turn cloudy, with showers anticipated from midnight. Gusty winds and the potential for street or flash flooding may accompany the heavier rainfall. For the Lesser Antilles, the forecast is mostly fair and hazy, with isolated showers possible. Temperatures are expected to range from a minimum of 24.5°C at Piarco to a maximum of 33°C, and from 25.6°C at Crown Point to a maximum of 32°C. Sea conditions are moderate, with wave heights of 1.5m to 2.0m in open waters and less than 1.0m near sheltered areas.
