Late Saturday night, two security guards at Malick Secondary School were assaulted and robbed by four armed suspects. The incident occurred around 11:40 p.m. as the guards, aged 25 and 18, were patrolling the school compound. The assailants, wielding iron rods, entered a classroom, ordered the guards to the ground, and attacked the older guard, striking him on the thigh and choking him while demanding keys to the cafeteria. The suspects searched the area but failed to find the keys. Before fleeing, they left a chair on the injured guard and escaped on foot with stolen belongings. The older guard lost a silver Samsung S9 worth $900 and $50 in cash, while the younger guard had his red Samsung cellphone valued at $650 taken. Officers from the North Eastern Division Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to the scene, and investigations are ongoing under the direction of PC Voisin.
