Sangre Grande businessman Danny Guerra was shot and killed on Friday afternoon in an incident that has shocked the community.
Reports indicate that Guerra was attacked and fatally shot in the area. Emergency responders were called to the scene but later pronounced him dead.
Officers from the Sangre Grande Police Station responded shortly after the incident and have since launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Guerra was the owner of the well known business DJ Homes.
He previously made headlines in 2025 after being detained during the state of emergency as part of investigations into alleged organized crime activities.
Police are continuing their inquiries as they work to determine the motive behind the shooting.
