San Fernando Businessman Fatally Shot by Wife in Shocking Incident

A shocking incident unfolded in Vistabella, San Fernando, as a woman reportedly shot her husband, businessman Steve Solomon Ghany Jr., 37, three times in the chest. The unsettling event took place around 10am on Wednesday 8th April 2026 at their home.

Following the incident, the woman made contact with the police who promptly responded to the scene. The circumstances leading to this tragic event are yet to be fully understood, with details still emerging.

This is not the first time that the Ghany family has been touched by violence. In 2024, an attack on Ghany’s stepmother and stepbrother, Monica and Matthew Ghany, resulted in tragedy. As they were leaving the San Fernando General Hospital, gunmen opened fire. Monica Ghany lost her life in that incident, while Matthew Ghany was injured.

The reasons behind these violent incidents remain murky. As the investigation into the most recent shooting continues, we await further revelations about this deeply distressing series of events.
