Russian forces struck a dry cargo ship carrying military cargo in the port of Chernomorsk, located in the Odessa region of Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
The ministry said the attack was carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles and that the vessel was hit while docked in the port.
In a separate statement, the ministry reported that Russian forces also struck a dry cargo ship transporting military supplies for the Ukrainian armed forces at the port of Izmail.
These strikes are part of a broader pattern of attacks on Ukrainian ports and naval vessels by Russian forces.
No casualties or damage to port infrastructure were reported.
