Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced strikes on two dry cargo ships unloading military cargo at the port of Odessa, as well as fuel storage tanks used by the Ukrainian armed forces. The strikes, reported on Monday, also targeted infrastructure facilities in the port of Chernomorsk in the Odessa region. According to the Russian MoD, two bulk carriers and a cargo ship delivering goods for Ukraine’s military were hit at a crossing south of Zatoka. Moscow frames the attacks as part of its ongoing effort to cripple Ukraine’s Black Sea logistics, hampering the flow of military supplies and fuel. The extent of damage and any casualties remains unclear.
