Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) national executive member Indresh Kumar on Friday cautioned youth participating in the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protests against what he called ‘disruptive forces within and outside the country’ working behind the agitation. Speaking at an event ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas in Jammu, Kumar criticized the party’s name, saying it suggests an intent to sow hatred and destruction rather than work for progress or peace. He accused the opposition of using the NEET issue to vitiate the positive atmosphere in the country and urged the youth to see through the ‘vicious designs’ of those exploiting them. The RSS leader also appealed to climate activist Sonam Wangchuk to keep his movement free of foreign influence and alleged that Pakistan continues to sponsor terrorism in India, citing the recent killing of a police officer in Anantnag.
