Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Homeland Security, Roger Alexander, has revealed the striking design hidden inside a black jacket he has been sporting during recent official appearances.
The minister had been seen wearing the jacket at Parliament, parliamentary briefings and press conferences throughout the week, but what appeared to be a conventional black jacket was hiding a rather interesting surprise.
In a video shared on his Instagram account, Alexander gave followers a closer look at the outfit, opening the jacket wide to reveal an elaborate inner lining featuring images of Don Vito Corleone from the legendary film The Godfather.
The distinctive lining carries repeated portraits of the famous movie character alongside The Godfather logo, transforming the otherwise modest-looking jacket into a bold fashion statement.
Standing inside a clothing store and dressed entirely in black, Alexander proudly displayed the design, holding both sides of the jacket open so viewers could appreciate the details.
The reveal offered a different perspective on a jacket that had already made appearances during the minister’s official engagements.
While much of Alexander’s public schedule involves matters of national security, parliamentary proceedings and government briefings, the Instagram video placed the spotlight on his personal fashion sense.
The jacket’s classic black exterior makes it suitable for formal appearances, while the movie-inspired lining adds an unexpected touch of personality.
And now that the secret behind the jacket has been revealed, those who spotted Alexander wearing it during the week may have a completely different appreciation for his Godfather fleek.
