The Rock for Alzheimer’s concert series is scheduled to return to the Belfast Empire Music Hall on Saturday, February 13, 2027. The event, which marks its 14th year, aims to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society Northern Ireland.
Since its inception in 2013, the concert series has raised more than £90,000 for the charity. Organizers have stated that they hope the 2027 event will push the total amount raised past the £100,000 milestone. The initiative was founded by a group of local musicians who sought to support those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. In 2017, the event received the Event of the Year award at the Dementia Friendly Awards.
The 2027 lineup features three musical acts: AC/DC tribute band AC?DC, rock and indie cover band The Arms of Venus DeMilo, and The Foyer Incident, a group that has performed at the event since its beginning.
Stephen Bradley, Entertainment Manager at the Belfast Empire, expressed support for the event’s longevity and its fundraising goals. He noted that the venue is pleased to host the concert again and encouraged the public to attend.
Doors for the event will open at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at £20, with all proceeds donated to the Alzheimer’s Society Northern Ireland. Tickets can be purchased online through Ticketmaster or in person at the Belfast Empire.
