Roblox Developer’s Widow Sues Male Escort Over Alleged $6 Million Scam

Marian Flippo, the widow of Roblox programmer Chad Flippo, has filed a lawsuit against professional male escort Craig Starr, alleging that a relationship which began as a paid arrangement eventually cost her millions of dollars.

Flippo says she initially hired Starr through luxury escort agency Cowboys 4 Angels following her husband’s death. What began as a professional arrangement later developed into a personal relationship, according to allegations contained in her lawsuit.

As the pair became closer, Flippo said she became uncomfortable with Starr continuing to work as an escort. She alleges she was subsequently presented with an arrangement under which millions of dollars would be required to buy Starr out of his contract with the agency.

Flippo claims she ultimately paid approximately $6 million towards the arrangement.

The widow also purchased a multimillion-dollar mansion in Manhattan, where she expected the couple to live together.

However, concerns surrounding the payments eventually emerged, with Flippo saying her family and financial institution intervened. She subsequently ended the relationship and is now seeking to recover money through legal action.

Speaking about the experience, Flippo said she eventually concluded that the person she believed she knew did not exist in the way he had presented himself.

Starr has denied being a scam artist.

The lawsuit contains allegations that have not been established as fact by a court, and the legal proceedings will determine whether Flippo is entitled to recover the money she claims she lost.
