Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have teamed up for a new Rare Beauty campaign titled “Still Making Each Other Blush.” The partnership celebrates the long‑standing friendship between the two singers and actresses and marks a return to the nostalgic era when they first rose to fame on Disney Channel. The campaign features a new blush set called the “Delena Soft Pinch Blush Bundle.” The name “Delena” is a fan‑created mash‑up of the two artists’ names. The bundle contains two liquid blush shades: “Hope,” which is Gomez’s favorite, and “Virtue,” chosen by Lovato. A brush for application is included, and the set is priced at $50. In promotional materials, Gomez and Lovato recreate iconic looks from the 2009 Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program, in which they both appeared. They also released a vlog‑style video that echoes the style of their teenage vlogs, evoking the early days of their friendship. The two first met in 2002 while working on the children’s series Barney & Friends. They later appeared in separate Disney projects—Gomez in Wizards of Waverly Place and Lovato in Sonny with a Chance and the film Camp Rock. Although their friendship had periods of limited contact, the pair reconnected publicly in April 2024 when Gomez attended Lovato’s concert in Orlando, Florida, where they shared a brief reunion onstage. The Rare Beauty collaboration is part of Gomez’s ongoing cosmetics line, and the campaign underscores the artists’ continued influence in both music and beauty industries.
