A retired San Juan man reported the disappearance of $42,000 in cash and jewelry from his home. The 65-year-old resident of Laventille Road, Febeau Village, informed the San Juan Police Station about the theft on Wednesday. He revealed that he had stashed $27,000 in cash in an ice-cream bucket and kept it in a wardrobe in his bedroom, along with jewelry worth $15,200. The man said he last saw his savings and valuables on the morning of November 18th.
