Rapper Offset Shot, Stable and Hospitalized in Florida; Investigation Underway

On Monday, April 6, 2026, rapper Offset was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The artist was immediately hospitalized and is currently in a stable condition. A representative confirmed Offset is under observation but is doing fine following the incident.

Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into the shooting. At this stage, the motive for the attack is unclear, and no official statement has been released on this matter. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities try to piece together the evidence.

This incident comes after the 2022 shooting death of Offset’s fellow Migos bandmate. The music industry has been dealing with a series of such incidents over the past few years, raising concerns about the safety and security of artists. It is hoped that this latest incident will spark renewed efforts to address these issues.
