Ransom Demand for Kidnapped Businessman Investigated

Police have launched an investigation into a ransom demand related to the kidnap of Michael Alejandro Espana Ramnath, a 34-year-old businessman from Penal. Ramnath, known locally as ‘Spanish’, runs the Best Friends Burger outlet and was reported missing after a late-night robbery on Tuesday. The kidnappers have demanded an undisclosed ransom and have made chilling threats to dismember him if the payment is not received by the end of the week. Ramnath’s family, shaken by the ordeal, have refrained from commenting publicly due to concerns for his safety. They remain hopeful for a proof of life.
