A new report released by Environment and Climate Change Canada, titled the 2026 Canada’s Changing Climate Report, outlines the varied impacts of global warming across the country. The document was authored by 23 specialists in climate science and climate change.
The report presents 15 key findings that the authors have identified as having the highest levels of scientific confidence. According to the publication, the effects of climate change will not be uniform, with each region of Canada expected to experience the warming process differently.
The findings are intended to provide a clearer understanding of how shifting environmental conditions will manifest across different geographic areas. The report serves as a comprehensive assessment of the current climate trajectory for the nation.
