The Nocturna draw of the Quiniela de la Ciudad, held on Saturday, 24 October, has released its winning numbers. The first prize went to number 0795, followed by 2114 in second place and 1534 in third. The top ten positions were completed by 9014, 1601, 1477, 1375, 2265, 8768 and 4616. Positions 11 to 20 were awarded to 0900, 7593, 6027, 1389, 9287, 6430, 1676, 4819, 6404 and 9461. The winning number 95 was noted by some as symbolically representing glasses according to dream‑interpretation references. The letters drawn were J, N, Q and Z. The Quiniela is Argentina’s most popular betting game, organized by the Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Unlike some other lotteries, it does not have a fixed prize pool; instead, payouts are determined by the number of correct guesses, with a maximum payout capped at five times the amount collected. Players can bet on one‑digit, two‑digit, three‑digit or four‑digit numbers. The draw is conducted in the Lotería’s premises using four separate ball‑draw machines. Each machine contains ten balls numbered 0 to 9, representing the thousands, hundreds, tens and units places of the winning number. A fifth machine with twenty balls numbered 1 to 20 determines the position on the game board. Four draws are held each day: the Primera at 12:00 p.m., the Matutina at 2:30 p.m., the Vespertina at 5:30 p.m. and the Nocturna at 9:00 p.m. Clarín notes that it is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this information and that the only official list of winners is the one provided by the Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
