Punz welcomes Trinibad unity and calls for peace to continue

Punz Entertainment has welcomed the current unity among Trinibad entertainers, saying the movement should build on the peace that now exists as the genre continues to grow across the Caribbean. In an Instagram video posted on September 17, 2026, Punz highlighted what he sees as a positive period for Trinibad, with entertainers on good terms and greater unity within the movement. He called for that peace to continue, describing Trinibad as one of the fastest-rising genres in the Caribbean alongside Compas and pointing to its growth as evidence of its potential. Punz also placed young people at the centre of what should happen next. “This is a genre for the youths,” he said, encouraging those involved to nurture and develop young talent in the right direction so they can positively impact Trinidad and Tobago. Rather than focusing on past divisions, his message centred on maintaining the current peace and using the unity among entertainers to strengthen the genre and create opportunities for the next generation. He closed his message with the phrase, “One Trinibad.”
