Prominent Cyclist Dies in Tragic Road Accident

Renowned cyclist and coach, Ronnie Rakesh Ragoonanan, tragically lost his life in an accident on Saturday. The unfortunate incident occurred around 3:00 pm, when Ragoonanan, heading north on the Southern Main Road in McBean, Couva, collided with a car while overtaking another vehicle. Despite immediate medical attention at the Couva Health Facility, he succumbed to his injuries by 4:10 pm. Tributes have since been flooding in online, with both Central Spokes Cycling Club and TTgameplan expressing their deep sorrow over the loss of a beloved member of the cycling community and a dear friend.
